Wow... there's only 4 more days until I leave for North Dakota!
I am so excited to learn the ways of the Ojibwe... to connect with my heritage and with ancient knowledge.
Planning the trip I am preparing my mind, body and heart.
There are so many things going through my mind, so many emotions, and thoughts and questions.... and there are so many things to do... Grades, sub plans, final projects, American education week, fundraisers, yearbook... painting, art shows, crafting, workshops, drum circle... packing, gathering materials and gifts for the elders, collection donations, doing a travel blessing ceremony... yoga, meditation, dreaming, writing, reflecting...and then I just take a deep breath... I am that I am.
